This manual exfoliation treatment is made to exfoliate off dead skin and remove "vellus" hair or also known as peach fuzz. Using a surgical blade it will remove the dull, damaged, and dead skin cells that make up the outermost layer of the skin. Pre-Treatment Instructions: - If combining treatment with a peel, do not use Accutane (acne medication) for several months before treatment - Do not engage in any laser treatments one month before and one month after your treatment - Please tell your clinician if you have: Used Accutane recently Had any recent facial surgery or radiation A herpes infection in the therapy area Any allergies to medication any immune deficiencies Post-Treatment Instructions: - Do not apply Retin-A, Tazorac, Renova, or Differin (also acne medication) for ~24 hours after treatment. - Avoid any exfoliating product for the next 3 days post treatment. - If peeling occurs avoid picking or pulling dead skin off. (Can cause more damage to the skin)
